Rasmus Hojlund is reportedly fighting to save his Manchester United career as the striker is on a 'trial' between now and the end of the season.

Hojlund swapped Atalanta for United for a fee worth up to £72 million ($89.2m/€86m) in August 2023 but he has not lived up to that fee so far. According to, the 21-year-old will effectively find himself on 'trial' for the remainder of 2024-25 after struggling for goals this season. If he doesn't perform, the young forward could be sold.

The report adds that head coach Ruben Amorim has been 'far from convinced' by the Danish international and this news has caught the attention of Napoli and Juventus. If United did sell, they would have to take a 'significant hit' on what they paid Atalanta.
