It was another frustrating first half against Al-Ittihad for the Portuguese talisman. The 40-year-old huffed and puffed in attack but made no meaningful contribution. In the 11th minute, Ronaldo tried his luck from just outside the penalty box, but his effort flew miles away from the target. Vexed at himself, Ronaldo could only give out a wry smile while shaking his head in disbelief.

Despite the miss, Ronaldo’s form this season has been anything but underwhelming. The former Real Madrid and Manchester United superstar has continued to find the back of the net with remarkable frequency for Al-Nassr and has 33 goals already to his name this campaign.
