After remaining unbeaten in their previous six matches in the Championship, West Brom suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Wigan on Saturday.
The Baggies seemed to be picking up a head of steam as they look to secure automatic promotion to the Premier League for next season, but this setback has certainly thrown somewhat of a spanner in the works.
And one man who endured a nightmare at the Hawthorns, was Hal Robson-Kanu.

The Wales international, who has enjoyed an impressive campaign up front with 12 goals across all competitions this season, just couldn’t get into the swing of things on Saturday afternoon.
Deployed once again through the middle, the 30-year-old cut a lonely figure up top, struggling to get involved in the build-up play, and often just being marked completely out of the game.
As per Sofascore, he had just 22 touches of the ball in the 90 minutes he was on the pitch – a remarkable statistic when you consider Matt Phillips had 19, even despite only coming on in the second-half. Robson-Kanu managed only six accurate passes too, and it was clear the Baggies simply couldn’t find him into feet on a regular basis.
For away day veterans only: Can you name all of these defunct stadiums?
He fired off just two shots on goal, attempted no dribbles, and won just two of his eight total duels. It was a completely anonymous performance from someone Slaven Bilic desperately needs to be firing on all cylinders as the season reaches its crucial point.
If Robson-Kanu can’t get himself into a game more than he did against Wigan, then the Baggies’ chances of automatic promotion to the top-flight is going to be an incredibly tall order.
Meanwhile, West Brom’s summer priorities are already clear.
