West Ham United are interested in a deal to bring Keane Lewis-Potter to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.

That’s according to a claim made by ExWHUemployee, with the club insider revealing on The West Ham Way podcast that the Hull City winger is one of a number of Championship talents David Moyes’ side are scouting ahead of a potential swoop in this summer.
Speaking about West Ham’s interest in the 21-year-old, Ex said: “I’ve mentioned this guy [as a target] before, Keane Lewis-Potter. He’s at Hull, doing similar stuff to what Jarrod was doing when he was there.”
The next Bowen
Considering just how impressive Lewis-Potter has been for Hull so far this season, it is easy to see why Moyes would be interested in a swoop for the youngster this summer, while it is also not difficult to understand why Ex has drawn comparisons between the forward and Jarrod Bowen.
Indeed, over his 33 Championship appearances this term, the £900k-rated winger has been in remarkable form for the Tigers, scoring six goals, registering three assists and creating six big chances for his teammates, as well as taking an average of 2.1 shots and making one key pass per game – with these returns seeing the £3k-per-week man average a SofaScore match rating of 6.79.
As such, it is perhaps no surprise that the former Hull manager, Grant McCann, appeared to be extremely excited about Lewis-Potter’s future in the game, with the 41-year-old stating of the starlet: “The kid’s a special talent.
“Wherever we play him across that frontline, he’ll create and score goals. He can be anything he wants to be. He’s quick, he’s getting stronger. If you see him physically now compared to where he was this time last year, he’s head and shoulders above in terms of his physique. He’s got all the tools to be anything he wants.”
So, considering his position, his eye for goal and the fact that he plays for Hull, the similarities between the 21-year-old and that of the £58m-rated Bowen four or so years ago are clear for all to see, leading us to believe that Moyes must do everything in his power to secure a deal for the Hull prodigy this summer – as Lewis-Potter could very well go on to become the Hammers’ next wide-attacking sensation.
